WRITE IT OUT, WALK IT OUT

Habakkuk 2:2-3

It may be the season in my life or the summer season that invites creativity and self-reflection. But, lately, I have been musing over the concept of “vision.” Here are some of my thoughts along with a handy tool for reflecting upon the vision for your own life.

My definition of vision is the picture or image of the passion God placed in your heart and mine.   Remember, the vision is not only for you but is designed to lead you into service to the sisters watching you from afar.   Habakkuk 2:2-3 encourages that we write out the vision.  Go ahead and take a stab at discovering and writing out your own vision.   

Here are some questions to consider:

1. Describe your vision in as much detail as you can imagine.

2.  Share the purpose of the vision and how it lines up with the call upon your life.

3.  Who will be blessed by your vision?

4.  What Scripture reference identifies your vision?

5.  How does your vision accentuate your gifts, talents and skills or vice versa?

6.  Who are your trailblazers and when can you collaborate with them for guidance, direction, and encouragement?

7.  How does your vision coincide with your personal experiences, challenges and victories?

8.  Use your 5 senses and create a dream of what it would be like to walk in your vision?

9.  What barriers showed up in your vision dream?

10.  How did you overcome those barriers?

11.  Pray for the strength and courage to live out your vision.

So, begin now.

Have fun and pray to be influenced by the holy spirit as you write.
