Today I am sharing the above article that is not written by me. But I am happy to share the principles within this article with my Virtuous Sisters.
We must beware of the world’s false promises that have us frustrated with irrational beliefs about happiness.
Jesus never promised us happiness. Rather, He promises something much more substantial and eternal. Something that cannot be touched by negative circumstances of any sort. He promises us joy! In fact, He promises us “His Joy” that is fulfilled in Him, and not others. This is joy that the world, nor circumstances can take away.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full (John 15:11).
This article reminds me of Chapter 7 of my book “The End of Forever” where I share God’s Plan for Healing after experiencing destructive relationships. Only a plan created specifically for you by God will heal your heart as He did mine. Ladies, let the joy of the Lord be our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Only a plan created specifically for you by God will heal your heart as He did mine.

By taking situations as they come, even if they’re not ideal, you’ll appreciate the good times even more.
